The climate change in China
Tourism is one of the major victims of climate change, especially long-distance travel, which have large carbon footprint. It’s not only for climate change impacts tourism, but also tourism affects climate change. Pollution is the main reason of climate change and indirectly affects the tourism industry. Because of many pollution, China faced the big issue about climate change. Especially the agriculture in China is affected by climate change, mudslides, soil erosion, sandstorm make some areas being barren. As a first-year graduate student, I try to use the low-carbon economy theory to decrease the low-carbon footprint. How to develop sustainable tourism is one of trends in the tourism field.

Hey Qingqing. I really like your blog! No matter is the perfectly fitted layout or the content of the post. You topic is very interesting. Because I am from China as well. I know something about the climate change in China. Your post clearly pointed out the major cause of climate change in China: Pollution. And the picture you choose vividly demonstrates the pollution situation in China for us. My topic is Threatened Ecosystem: Amazon Rainforest. Our topics are related in the way that both China and Amazon Rainforest are facing the problem of climate change. Personally, I would like to recommend the Greenpeace.org for you. It's a non-profit organization aims to save the world's endangered places. Furthermore, we might work together to search for more information about the climate change and discuss the current climate situation of China. Keep up the great job!

Hi Qingqing! Your blog is very interesting! I am in your International Tourism class and I am doing my blog on the endangered species Bengal Tigers. While they are mostly found in India, I am curious if the climate change in China could still have an effect on the Bengal Tiger since India and China are part of the same continent. Let me know if you'd be interested in working together on a blog post!

Good stuff Qingqing! My sustainable tourism blog is on the effects of global warming on Chile's tourism. Like China, Chile is responsible for the majority of global warming gases in its region. Does the fact that both Chile and China are big polluters create a negative perceptions amongst potential tourists?
